The Vision: - I grew up in the 1980's and my favorite music was heavy metal. I enjoyed listening to bands like Kiss, Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Poison and as far as I was concerned Christian music had nothing to offer a "metal-head" like me. It wasn't until I attended the Sonshine Music Festival one summer where I was introduced to bands like Stryper, Guardian, Bride, Holy Soldier and Ken Tamplin. I had no idea that Christian music had more to offer than Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith and Sandi Patti! Once I found Christian bands that I wasn't embarrassed to play in front of my friends I slowly began to wean myself off of secular music completely. Christian metal literally changed my life.
